Studies of Codependency; Toxin Control Part 1 Course # 233- 8 Credits
There will be a self-awareness and personal growth assessment. Building blocks of self-esteem, anger, and depression will be covered. Spiritual healing with biblical application will be applied and required in two written essays; one on anger and one on depression.

This course covers marriage and family planning and the importance of the counselor in the role of educator is stressed.

Educational Psychology-Group Dynamics Part 1 Course # 223- 10 Credits
This course is designed to help students realize their potential for growth more fully, and to increase their ability to work effectively with others in a variety of situations. Two projects are required using the group dynamics format. One project must be anger management, the other is a choice of interest by the student. These projects may be turned in as audiocassettes or videos.

This course enables students to put special emphasis on stress management, fitness, nutrition, and the development of an effective personal life style. A single page synopsis of three listed categories is required with bible verses added when applicable.

This course will provide studies of growth and development of a family’s proper functioning. Students will write two papers using real or hypothetical family situations and apply remedies in family dysfunctions.

Theories of Spiritual Counseling Part 1 Course #277-8 Credits
This course covers issues of spirituality, including self-disclosure, in-depth examination of attitudes, and religious scriptural background will be included. One in-depth self-examination paper with religious background included with at least five references from required readings completes this course.
