SYLLABUS
Religious Significant Artifacts Pertaining to Holy Sacraments Course #917- 20 Credits
Students will study and research the historical significance of artifacts from the church particularly from the 1500-1700's. Students will become familiar with the procedure involved in religious artifact finds. A research paper is required.

Church Cultural Affiliations & Hierarchical Influences in the 1600's Spanish Culture Course # 927- 20 Credits
Students will capture the prevailing Christian thought during the rein of King Phillip IV of Spain and write about the 1050 schism between the Catholic and Protestants.

Dictates of the Holy Orders and the Politics with Catholic Spain Course #937- 20 Credits
Students will study the prevailing politics during King Phillip IV reign and include the war with the northern countries that changed the course of history for the greatest nation on earth during this time period. A term paper is required.
Various history books on this time period will be utilized.
Religious Interpretive and Biblical Archaeology Course #950- 20 Credits
Students will write a paper contrasting the Catholic and Protestant Reformation. The importance of archaeology in defining historical events must be included in paper.

Biblical/Prophetic Archaeology and the Reform Catholic Inquisition Course # 950- 20 Credits
Students will read and study the three volumes "Theou Thalasa Trilogy" by author Haralambos and critique each volume as it relates to prophetic and bible based Holy Scripture. Three critique papers are required and the Golden Madonna and Christ Child Statue must be mentioned in critique papers.

Publicated Thesis 20 Credits
Students are required to write a thesis. Student will submit an outline and have an interview for approval of thesis research. Publication costs are not included. A project other than a written thesis must be approved.
