Students in this course will outline and then critique 10 denominations including Orthodoxy. Church visitations of at least three denominations optional but encouraged. "History of Civilization," volumes in book form by Will Durant

Search the Scripture/Bible Study Course #353- 6 Credits
Students will search the scriptures and use a concordance to answer questions in each lesson, which will be provided. Five sermons, which can be typed, placed on a cassette, video taped, or mixed in presentation, must accompany the finished lessons.

History of the church and the Legal Courts/Apostolic Perspective course #302- 9 Credits
An introduction to church canon/law with an orthodox translation/interpretation will be covered. This course covers some to the historical issues of canonicity by giving detailed information of specific incidents that took place involving the Greek Orthodox Church in court. Archbishop Haralambos will provide ten issues with facts and documentation in written format. Students will also become familiar with the website of St. Michael Academy of Eschatology. An exam will be given at the end of this course.

This course outlines, integrates, categorizes, and applies teachings of the early church fathers to apply in today’s world. One summary written or audio of each video/cassette is required with no more that 250 written words each. Audio summary has no limit. Students may opt to choose to complete 12 summaries one each from Nicene or Post Nicene church fathers.

This course gives detailed comparisons of Gospel accounts. It is an excellent study of the parables, and paschal events. Students are required to integrate accounts into a single chronology to give a message. Students may choose to have an introduction to the Greek or Hebrew language too.
